we are

Hi, I’m Tasha — founder of The Common Cookie and now the heart behind The Common Cookie Kitchen. What began as a small home project during the pandemic has grown into a journey I never expected: from selling my first gluten-free bakes at markets, to running a full commercial kitchen, to now teaching others the art of gluten-free baking.

My passion has always been more than just cookies — it’s about creating joy, connection, and community through food. Along the way, I’ve learned to balance grit and grace, turning challenges into opportunities and celebrating every milestone (big and small) with a cookie in hand.

Today, I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned with you — from perfected recipes to behind-the-scenes tips — so you can create delicious gluten-free treats in your own kitchen. Baking has given me resilience, creativity, and a way to serve others, and my mission is to pass that on to you.
